I’m Tanner, the proud founder of The Right Pursuits, a business born from my deep passion for the outdoors and the hunting lifestyle. With years of experience hunting whitetail deer in West Virginia, I aim to share my knowledge with fellow hunters, fishers, and conservationists who live for the same traditions and culture that have shaped my life.

At just 15 years old, my life took an unexpected turn when I lost my leg after being shot at near point-blank range by a .223 Federal Premium 55g Ballistic Tip Bullet. While this accident presented new challenges, it never stopped me from pursuing my love for the hunt. A year later, I harvested my first black bear with a bow, hunting solo from a tree stand two miles deep into the wilderness. That experience only deepened my obsession for the outdoors, pushing me to explore further, hunt longer, and listen to the wind for the secrets it holds within the trees.
